Green Tea Japan Sencha Fuji
Sencha tea is by far the most popular tea in Japan and accounts for a large part of the production there. This superior quality tea was harvested in spring and only lightly steamed before rolling. The leaf appears slightly brittle due to its tense character. After infusion, the fine leaf structure is clearly visible. The infusion shimmers deep olive green and gives off a light green cup. The taste of this Sencha is much milder than its competitors. The pleasantly gentle note with a slight sweetness makes this tea particularly recommended for delicate palates.

green tea

 1-3 minutes brewing time 70° - 80 °C water temperature 4-5 heaped teaspoons/1 litre
