This tea comes from Shizuoka, from the slopes of Mount Fuji. It is harvested by machine in summer and freed from stems and fragments. Sencha translates as "steamed tea" and so this tea is also carefully processed and lightly steamed before rolling and drying. The leaf forms a very fine and fragile structure. The infusion shimmers in a light, olive-green colour. The taste is concise with a dominant note in the aftertaste and ideal for connoisseurs of strong green teas. A quality that also offers excellent value for money.
